Shipping Policy

Playback Supply sells vintage, pre-owned, and sourced-on-demand electronics. Because many items require sourcing, testing, cleaning, inspection, and secure packaging before shipment, orders are not always shipped immediately.

Order Handling Time

Most orders have a 5–7 business day handling period before shipment.

This handling time allows us to:

  • Source the correct unit, when applicable

  • Test the item’s core listed functions

  • Record serial numbers and item condition

  • Clean and inspect the item

  • Package the item safely for shipment

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Shipping Time

After the handling period is complete, most orders ship with an estimated 5 business day transit time.

Estimated delivery timeline:

5–7 business days handling + approximately 5 business days shipping

This means most orders are expected to arrive in approximately 10–12 business days after purchase.

Delivery times may vary depending on carrier delays, weather, holidays, address issues, or other conditions outside of our control.

Sourced-on-Demand Items

Some items may be sourced on demand or fulfilled from tested inventory. If an item is sourced on demand, the handling time may be used to locate, inspect, and test a suitable unit before shipment.

If we are unable to source a suitable working unit, we will contact the customer with available options.

Tracking Information

Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear after the shipping label is created.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

Playback Supply is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If an address issue is discovered before shipment, contact us as soon as possible.

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier, transit delays may occur outside of our control.

If a package appears lost or damaged in transit, please contact us so we can review the situation and assist with the carrier claim process when applicable.

Vintage Electronics Packaging

Vintage electronics are carefully packed to reduce the risk of shipping damage. Larger or more fragile items such as VCRs, camcorders, Bose systems, and gaming consoles may require additional packaging time to ensure safe delivery.
