Return & Warranty Policy

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for buyer’s remorse, compatibility issues, change of mind, accidental purchases, cosmetic preference, or because an item shows normal age-related wear.

Playback Supply sells vintage, pre-owned, and sourced-on-demand electronics. These items are not brand new and may show signs of cosmetic wear due to age, including scuffs, scratches, discoloration, sticker residue, label wear, minor marks, or other normal used-item imperfections.

30-Day Function Warranty

Every eligible item is covered by a 30-day function warranty starting from the delivery date.

If an item arrives faulty or stops performing its core listed function within 30 days, we may provide a replacement unit of the same model or a comparable replacement unit, subject to availability.

This warranty covers functional failure under normal use only.

No Refunds

We do not issue refunds unless required by applicable law. Warranty claims are handled by replacement only when approved.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To start a warranty claim, the customer must contact us within 30 days of delivery and provide:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos and/or video showing the issue
  • Description of the problem
  • Photos of the serial number, if applicable
  • Photos of the item condition and packaging

We may require the item to be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.

Serial Number & Condition Verification

Before shipment, we may record the item’s serial number, identifying marks, accessories, and condition.

If an item is returned under a warranty claim and the serial number, identifying marks, parts, accessories, or condition do not match the unit originally shipped, the warranty claim will be denied and no refund or replacement will be issued.

If a different item is sent back, or if the returned item has been tampered with, swapped, damaged, modified, or stripped for parts, no refund or replacement will be issued.

Warranty Exclusions

The 30-day function warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by the customer
  • Drops, liquid damage, misuse, neglect, improper setup, or improper storage
  • Power surge damage
  • Buyer-caused disc, tape, or media jams
  • Compatibility issues with the customer’s TV, cables, tapes, discs, memory cards, games, accessories, or region formats
  • Cosmetic wear or age-related imperfections
  • Batteries, unless specifically stated
  • Remote controls, cables, chargers, or accessories unless specifically listed as included and functional
  • Items returned with missing parts, swapped parts, or different serial numbers
  • Any item opened, repaired, modified, or tampered with by the customer or a third party

Return Shipping for Warranty Claims

Customers are responsible for safely packaging the item for return inspection unless otherwise stated.

If the warranty claim is approved, we will provide a replacement unit when available. If an exact replacement is not available, we may offer a comparable replacement unit.

Vintage Electronics Disclaimer

Vintage and pre-owned electronics can vary from unit to unit. Exact cosmetic condition, included accessories, button layout, and minor model variations may differ unless specifically confirmed before fulfillment.

By purchasing from Playback Supply, the customer agrees that the item is pre-owned, may show cosmetic wear, and is covered only by the 30-day function warranty described above.
